This year marks 100 years of Calrossy Anglican School on Brisbane Street and a centenary of the iconic ÄÛ²ÝÊÓÆµ House as the heart of the School. In celebration of this milestone we take a look behind the bricks of the historic building that is ÄÛ²ÝÊÓÆµ House. It is a story of change, resilience, friendship and success, told by the people who were there every step of the way, from the early days in 1923 when the then Tamworth Church of England Girls School relocated to the Brisbane Street Campus to the dual campus structure of today.
This wonderfully produced 50 minute documentary will take you on a journey. Calrossy… Our Light and Life offers untold insights, recollections, recounts and details from past Principals, Alumni and delves deep into the archives.
It is the true story of Calrossy’s diverse history, dedication to education excellence and the community through good and difficult times.
As part of this evening we are raising funds for the . In particular the Mary England (Melville 43) and Ruth Munro Scholarships that were established in 2019 as part of our School centenary in recognition of their outstanding contribution to our School.
